While unexpectedly being confronted with disruptions in my energetic field, I simply want to remember to honor my body, to honor the ways that it tells me “no” and the ways that it tells me “yes.” To move forward, beyond the requests of my body, is to further risk the stability of my health. I can only do so much. I am only meant to do so much.

When the body is tired, it is time to rest. When the body is hungry, it needs nourishment. When the body is processing or digesting situations, it needs time for integration. It doesn’t matter if the body said “yes” before, today it might say “no.” Honoring the body is about following its signals everyday, beyond what we think we should or should not be doing. Honoring the body is about not pushing forward when it is saying “no, it’s time to stop doing this right now!” Moreover, honoring the body is about building a relationship with life and cultivating heart rather than allowing death.

Thus, I invite you to further honor your body and your life in all the ways that it tells you to proceed forward, to go back, to stop, or to move in another direction. Also take the time to notice what happens when you don’t honor your body. How many dishonors does it take to may you physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually ill? How many dishonors will you allow into your life? How many dishonors will you allow into our next collective dreams together?
